For Wobbel, sustainability is never an afterthought. Every board is made from FSC®-certified beech wood sourced from strictly monitored European plantations. The wood is laminated, bent and finished with child-friendly oils and lacquers, tested according to the highest safety standards (CE).
At G-Desmet we take care of the shaping process: bending and pressing layers of multiplex into the recognisable flowing form that gives the Wobbel its strength and elegance. Our craftsmanship ensures that every curve has the right tension and stability, with a perfectly smooth finish designed to last for generations.
