Customers in the furniture and interior industry increasingly ask for materials with a smaller impact, as well as for a supplier who can show where the raw material comes from. That's why, alongside wood and felt, we also work with natural fibres such as hemp and flax. We position these fibres correctly, since whether a curve holds or cracks depends on the fibre's length or width. The mats are coated with glue and pressed into a mould under high pressure until they take on the desired shape. This gives your piece a warm, natural look, backed by a raw material you can trace all the way back to the field.

The fibre is both long and wide, so the position in which we place the material affects whether a curve holds. The finish is completed using residues of the material itself or with a lacquer coating, depending on your design.
